It took just one week for Lil Wayne’s Tha carter IV to reach close to one million copies sold this past September, almost hitting the numbers of its predecessor, Tha Carter III, which managed to top one million units during its first week.
On Oct. 25, rumors of Dipset rapper Jim Jones being assaulted in his hometown of Harlem became the most talked about topic in the rap rumor mill.
Rumors of Jones being “jumped” outside of a recording studio made their way through cyberspace.
Vybz Kartel has caught himself yet another murder rap.
Apparently, the singer has been charged with the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. Investigators in Jamaica believe Kartel worked with an associate, named Kiro Jones.
Lil Webbie has launched a war of words against BET 106 & Park host Terrence J, after he was kicked off the show a few weeks ago.
Webbie made an apperance as a judge on Freestyle Friday and apparently made some ill-rated remarks to either Terrence’s co-host Rocsi Diaz or another female worker because he got kicked off the show.
Waka Flaka recently tweeted that Gucci was already home however we learned otherwise.
Gucci Mane was originally set to serve six months in prison and pay a $3,000 fine as well as restitution to a victim after pleading guilty to battery in an Atlanta.
The sentence originated from an incident where Gucci allegedly threw a woman out of a moving car in January 2011 after she rejected a $150 proposition to check-in at a nearby motel.
It was an unexpected turn of events for Soulja Boy, what was supposed to be a day of promotion turned out to be a day in the slammer!
Soulja Boy had 10 big interviews lined up today to promote his new documentary. Instead, he’s locked up in jail.
“Soulja Boy: The Movie” was released yesterday on DVD, and the rapper was supposed to spend the day pushing the movie with various media outlets.
Coldplay and Rihanna recently collaborated on a track and it actually sounds like they had some real good chemistry.
Coldplay, one of the biggest bands in the world under is doing their part to turn Rihanna into the biggest female pop star in the world by putting her on their new single “Princess of China“.

Lil Webbie is now officially banned from 106 and Park!
During last week’s “Freestyle Friday” on 106 & Park host Terrance J revealed that Webbie would not only be appearing on the show that day, but he was indefinitely banned from the show for good.
Tip didn’t waste any time, he’s been hitting remixes all over the place ever since his release form the halfway house.
Tip has been hopping on a few hit singles and looking to contribute to some more.
