Rapper DMX is apparently steaming hot over his former record label, Def Jam, offering him 2 cents for every $50 game sold!

Def Jam: Fight for N.Y., the video game, has DMX as a character and uses his music throughout the soundtrack but he was only offered 2 cents for every game sold as the game retails for $50.

Check out Jay-Z and Eminem in the TV commercial for the music video game DJ Hero which released in stores on October 27, 2009. DJ Hero is developed by FreeStyleGames and published by Activision as a rhythm game similar to Guitar Hero which utilizes a turntable to simulate DJ’ing.

Rap artist Soulja Boy aka Dre got a chance to test drive the newest in a Microsoft high-tech gaming project at his recent visit to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Hip Hop artists Jay-Z and Enimen will join DJ Hero which is based off the Guitar Hero platform by contributing some of their most popular songs for a special branded edition of the music video game. The special edition version of DJ Hero will include an advanced version of the turntable controller, a metal traveling case that transforms into a DJ stand and two exclusive music CD compilations featuring greatest hits and new mixes from each artist, amongst other things.

Rapper/entrepreneur 50 Cent is prepping to release his new action packed video game ‘Blood On The Sand’ which will hit stores on Tuesday, February 24th in the US and on Friday, February 20th in Europe. The video game is a sequel to 50 Cent’s ‘50 Cent: Bulletproof’ released in November of 2005 and will be available for the Playstation 3 (PS3) and X-Box 360.
