David Mays known for his works with Source Magazine will be launching a brand new publication with ex-owner Ray “Benzino” Scott. The magazine is set to make it debut at all news stands on October 16th, 2006 under the name of “Hip Hop Weekly”.
“Hip Hop Weekly” will focus on everything from celebrity news, music, fashion and hip-hop culture and will aim to keep up with the growing change in the hip hop today.
In an effort to rack up early sales for Kevin Federline’s upcoming rap album, Playing With Fire, K-Fed will give away the sneakers he wore during his critically-panned debut performance at last month`s Teen Choice Awards to a fan who pre-orders the disc off his official Website.
His smelly kicks will be given away to one lucky customer of the disc, due out Oct. 31 on Federation Records along with his autograph on the sneakers.

The album will be released under Black Eye Peas producer and front man will.i.am label on September 19, 2006.

`Financial empowerment isn’t something that’s taught,” Simmons said.
“It`s not common knowledge; even if you go to school, you don`t learn it in school.”
