Chicago rapper Common, will officially be the new face of Converse’s RED. The campaign “Weapon of Change” will launch sometime in the fall which is a partnership with the Product “RED”.

Common will be showing his handsome face in a number of print and outdoor advertisements across the country which were shot by Bryan Adams.

Do you remember that dirt Dallas Austin spit out on video a few months ago about Joss Stone and Christina Aguilera? Yeah, the video in which he said they slept around for tracks and stuff like that. Guess he didn’t think that video would get around on the net. After a few days of circulating, all the videos went down. Hmmm…. Sri Lanka rapper/singer and visual artist M.I.A. residing in Hounslow, London, England, has made a transformation from sexy to “sexy n wild”. Since stepping onto the music scene in 2003 from her hit single “Galang,” M.I.A. has grown radically in popularity. Recently the rapper recorded her upcoming video “Boyz” for her forthcoming album “Kala” which will be released under XL Recordings/Interscope Records. The album is expected to be out in the U.S. on August 21, 2007 and will feature production from Timbaland, Switch, Diplo, M.I.A. herself and others.

Her latest single “Boyz” will be released on enhanced CD along with her promo video, behind the scenes, remixes and more. The song “Boyz” will also be available on 12″ vinyl and via a M.I.A. branded USB wristband.

Ray-J is reportedly getting ready to direct and narrate a new porno. The R&B singer discussed his new found career: “I wrote an adult movie and a concept that I’ve been trying to shoot… A lot of people don’t want me to do it. A lot of people think it’s bad, but f**k ‘em. There’s money over there. “I got offered a couple million to be the narrator and just guide people through. The stars that I’m going to choose are going to be really nice, really classy, and I’m going to build up to the sex.” And the star admits he’s now beginning to think his leaked sex tape, which he himself has been accused of leaking, was a good thing: “It turned out to be something that kind of broke the barrier for my career.”

The album will be released under Interscope Records entitled “The Midnite Life” and is expected to release sometime this Summer. A gay rapper by the name of Caushun is pointing fingers at music mogul Russell Simmons and is calling him gay after his manager exposed him as fraud and having no talent. Russell Simmons addressed the allegations with Dallas Voice about him living a gay lifestyle. The rapper claimed that he got hold of Russell Simmons Blackberry which held messages to a secret gay relationship.

Well anyways his mother owns J-Pat Management (Jonnetta Patton) and according to Media Takeout she’s going after ex-girlfriend Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas (TLC) to manage her career. Chilli who’s been managing her own career for the past few years probably should consider it since nothing has been happening thus far.
