T.I. Explains How Jay-Z Was Supposed To Feature On “Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head”

T.I. explains how Jay-Z was supposed to appear on the final track list for “Trouble Man.”

T.I. has delayed the release of hit album “Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head” for months, but it has finally hit record stores. In a recent interview with XXL, T.I. explains the one collaboration that didn’t make it to the final cut of his eighth solo album.

T.I. says that Jay-Z was going to feature on one of the sings in T.I.’s album “Trouble Man.” The sing that Jay-Z was going to feature on was titled “G Season.” Jay-Z was unable to feature on the track, but T.I. Was able to secure a verse from MMG newcomer Meek Mill.

“I asked Jay to get on ‘G Season’,” he said. “I sent word to Jay-Z, I asked him to get on it. I know he had a lot of shit going on, so he never got around to it. I finally ran into Meek in the club—we was at, when Kanye did that thing at the post office about five, six weeks ago. We was there together and I was like, Hey, man, I got something I want you to do. We left there, got something to eat, then we went to Just Blaze’s studio in Harlem and laid the shit down right there.”
