DMX Will Not Be Releasing A Christmas Album

DMX has stated that he will not be releasing a Christmas themed album. DMX’s edition of “Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer” became an Internet sensation, but the rapper isn’t ready to commit to a Christmas album.

In a recent interview TMZ, they asked him if he’d release a hip hop Christmas album which led DMX to respond, “Um, probably not.”

DMX didn’t discount the possibility of a new album coming out soon. “If something come up, I’ma bang it out, but I’m not, like, looking forward to doing a Christmas album.”

He also gave his take on “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.” “There’s not really much dressing up like Santa Claus in the projects. You might get the story of Santa Claus, but when you’re in the projects, you know Santa Claus ain’t coming down the motherfuckin’ chimney, because ain’t no motherfuckin’ fireplace.”
