T.I. explains his relationship with Meek Mill. Both artists worked for “Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head,” which extends back several years.

T.I. and Meek Mill have known each other for many years, he was signed to his Grand Hustle movement around the time T.I. Was recording 2008′s “Paper Trail.”

In a recent interview with Rap-Up.com, T.I. Talked about their upcoming collaboration “G Season” for ‘Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head.’ T.I. stated that he is proud of M.M.G. rapper for observing his flow and applying it to his own work.

“Meek Mill’s a homie of mine. I remember when his hair was long, down past his shoulders, and he was poppin’ wheelies on dirt bikes in Philly and freestyling on corners, getting his YouTube shine on. He’s come a long way,” he said. “I remember when he was around me like every day for about two months while I was working on the Paper Trail album. I think he was in the studio when I did ’Dead and Gone,’ I think he was there when I was performing for the MTV VMAs, when me and Rihanna premiered the video for’Live Your Life.’ He was around to observe a lot and he took it and he used it to his advantage, which is extremely commendable. There’s not many times youngsters get around cats who are already established and are able to observe the way the established artist moves, and actually take note of it, not disregarding the significance of this moment.”
