Singer Major Harris Dies At 65

Major Harris is a member of the Delfonics has passed away last week. The delfonics is a Philadelphia sound soul group.

Major Harris has passed away in Richmond, Virginia.

The press has released information that Major Harris passed away Friday, November 9, from congestive heart and lung failure. Major Harris was rushed to the hospital but he didn’t make it on time.

Major Harris was also a member of Frankie Lymon’s Teenagers, Nat Tuner’s Rebeillion and the Charmers.

Major Harris later on joined the Delfonics in the early 1970′s, which he recorded hits such as “La-La (Means I Love You)” and “Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time).”

The Delfonics were also sampled by hip-hop artists such as Grand Puba (“Very Special”), Ghostface Killah (“Holla” and “R.A.G.U.”), and most famously the Fugees (“Ready or Not”).
