Ice Cube Will Be Starring In Action Comedy “Ride Along” Co-Starring With Kevin Hart

Ice Cube and Kevin Hart will star in an action comedy film releasing in January 2014.

Kevin Hart is set to star opposite of Ice Cube in the upcoming film, Ride Along, which will be in theaters on January 17, 2014.

THR recently stated, that the West Coast rapper will be headlining the film, which is explained as a “comedic Training Day.” The plot of the story is “a risk-averse second grade teacher, who plans on marrying the girl of his dreams but first must accompany his overprotective future brother-in-law, a tough cop, on a ride-along from hell.”

The movie is set to be a family film, so families can enjoy watching the film with their children. The movie is being filmed underground, which involve a level of disagreement. The APD (Atlanta Police Department) stated:

“On Wednesday and Thursday there will be a movie filming at Underground Atlanta. On both of those days there will be a simulated gun battle inside the mall area. Most of the gunfire will be on Thursday. There are signs posted in the area advising citizens of the filming and off-duty Atlanta Police Officers will be at Underground for this event.”

John Leguizamo, Tike Sumpter, Jay Pharaoh and Bryan Callen are additional stars that will be starring in the film as well. The project was directed by Tim Story.
