Kendrick Lamar Debuted At #2 With His Album “good kid, m.A.A.d city”

It has been announced that Kendrick Lamar has the #2 spot on Billboard with over 240,000 albums sold.

Even though he’s a new hip-hop artist that everyone has been waiting for and the debut of his album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” finally launched and got good feedback.

Last week there had been reports that Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” was expected to sell 200,000 copies. HITS Daily Double has given us the final tally on the album sales and gave us the report on his success.

In recent reports, good kid, m.A.A.d city, debuted with 242,122 albums sold, which landed him at the #2 spot on Billboard’s 200 sales chart. Kendrick Lamar came one spot behind Taylor Swift, whose album, “Red,” sold about 1,209,817 copies.

Billboard 200 isn’t the only chart Kendrick Lamar has taken over. As of October 23, he was able to manage the #2 spot on iTunes as well. This is a great accomplishment for an emcee that has just debuted with Aftermath/Interscope.

Kendrick Lamar keeps on getting a lot of praise from others in the hip-hop community, and keeps on proving others that you can accomplish anything. Kendrick Lamar has shown that just continuing to make his music and doing what he does can bring him great success in his life.
