Flo Rida Getting Sued For Not Paying Home Security System

News

Flo Rida gets into a lawsuit with ADT after he failed to make his payments for the security of his home.

Let’s just remember that Flo Rida was forced recently to repay Fat As Butter organizers over $400,000 for not showing up at last year’s festival.

ADT is one of the largest home security companies in the United States, and they’re suing the rapper for not paying the remaining amount of his bill.

Flo Rida’s Miami mansion is secured by a $58,000 system. The company, ADT installed dozens of sensors, smoke detectors and more than 25 security cameras around his Miami mansion back in 2009.

TMZ even reported that the 2009 contract was signed by Lee Prince, reportedly the rapper’s manager. TMZ even stated that Flo Rida paid the deposit of $19,366.66, but the remaining $38, 733 was never paid. ADT now seeks that the rapper finishes his payment plus interest, which amounts to the total of $47,134.40.

Flo Rida claimed that he doesn’t have to pay for it, since he wasn’t the one who signed the contract. He even fired back at the company and stated, “I never authorized the installation of the system despite Prince’s signature, so I don’t owe the company a cent.”
