Rihanna is said to have been taken to a hospital suffering from ‘exhaustion and dehydration’ on Monday night. This marks the two trips to the hospital for the hip hop star this year.
Rihanna posted a photo of an IV drip attached to her arm on her Twitter account yesterday. Although she didn’t confirm the reason for her stay, MediaTakeOut reports she was rushed to a New York medical facility after partying at the Met Gala.
Rihanna revealed the picture after one of her Twitter followers asked why she had been so quiet all day.
Reports are that Rihanna was discharged from the undisclosed medical centre after a brief stay. She returned to Los Angeles by private jet earlier today.
Rihanna’s health scare comes just days after she complained of feeling unwell.
Last weekend, she revealed she was becoming frustrated with her wellbeing.
‘Ph**k being sick (sic),’ she tweeted on Sunday, before adding ‘Seriously, I’m sick! Don’t wake me up for dumb sh*t like that (sic).’
Rihanna is said to have caused concerns in her camp ever since she pulled out of a rehearsal for Saturday Night Live due to illness.
