President Obama shared his opinion on his taste in Hip-Hop music and had some words for Kanye West.
President Obama was attending a fundraiser when a reporter for The Atlantic quizzed him on his Hip-Hop tastes.
President Obama said he prefers Jay-Z over Kanye West, “although I like Kanye,” Obama told The Atlantic. “He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.”
What came next in the interview was a bit unexpected! Obama resorted to calling Kanye a jackass.
“He is a jackass,” Obama said. “But he’s talented.”
President Obama also labeled the Grammy Award-winning producer/rapper a jackass in 2009, after he infamously interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
Well hey at least the president can admit that Kanye does have talent, which makes up for the fact that he indeed may be a bit to self centered at time….Ok, all the time!
