Jay-Z does not Approve Of Rihanna’s Reunion With Chris Brown

Jay-Z can’t comprehend why Rihanna is mingling with Chris Brown again.

The pair split three years ago after Chris attacked Rihanna and was then charged with felony battery.

This week Rihanna and Chris have released two remixed songs that they have collaborated on together, Birthday Cake and Turn Up the Music.

Radar Online reports that Jay-Z is not happy with how close they’ve been getting lately, as he is not a big fan of Chris.

‘Jay was absolutely disgusted by what Chris did to Rihanna,’ a source told Radar Online.

‘Jay doesn’t understand how a man could ever lay hands on a woman; it just goes against who he is and about. Chris is absolutely dead to Jay, he wants nothing to do with him ever. Now that Rihanna is hooking up with Chris and recording songs with him, Jay is deeply disappointed in her actions.’

Jay-Z doesn’t want harm to befall Rihanna again.

‘He can’t fathom why Rihanna is doing the things she is doing,’ the source explained. ‘He understands the need for forgiveness, but he is adamant that Rihanna shouldn’t forget what Chris did to her. Jay wonders what kind of message this is sending to Rihanna’s young female fans. Rihanna knows how Jay feels about Chris, but she doesn’t care, she is going to do what she wants.’

Jay-Z and Beyoncé gave birth to their infant daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January. Now that he has a baby girl in his life, Jay-Z’s concern for Rihanna has amplified.

‘[Since Blue Ivy was born] he is even more protective of the women in his life,’ the source shared. ‘Jay has told Rihanna he will never give his blessing for what she is doing with Chris. He has told her, this isn’t going to end well, it never does. In Jay’s opinion, Chris has rage issues that he doesn’t think have been dealt with.’

Rihanna’s remix of her song Birthday Cake, featuring Chris, was released this week on February 20, her 24th birthday.
