Fergie says having that having a baby is going to be one of her priorities during her career break.
The Black Eyed Peas have decided to take a break starting from next month. There were reports this was due to Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel wanting to start a family together.
However, Fergie doesn’t want the pressure of having to conceive immediately.
“Yes, [a] baby is in the plans at some point but there’s no specific plans or date or anything like that,” Fergie told E! News yesterday.
“That’s just one of the things I want to do.”
Fergie is looking forward to spending quality time with Josh.
“You know, I’m ready to have a day where I can just see where the day takes me,’ she explained. ‘Take this journey. Go to an art gallery. Go to a museum. Go to fashion shows. Spend time with my husband.”
It not yet known when the group will return to the recording studio.
Fergie admits she has no idea when she will be reunited with her bandmates either.
“We’re not going to set a date on it,” she added. “It’s organic.”
Best wishes go out to Fergie and hopefully we shall see The Black Eyed peas reunite sometime in the future.
