A funeral service date has set in place for hip hop icon Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel Dwayne Hale, who recently passed away on last week (March 15) of stroke complications at the age of 41, as reported on HipHopRX.com.

The rapper’s funeral service will reportedly take place on Saturday in his native home of Long Beach, California, according to Press Telegram.

According to Nate Dogg’s sister, Pamela Hale-Burns, also a reporter for Press Telegram, the Saturday service occur at 10 a.m. and will be open to the public, while a viewing for Nate Dogg will take place Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at New Hope Baptist Church, 1160 New York St., also in Long Beach.

Another young man dead following a car crash. Hip Hop artist Soulja Boy’s 14 year-old brother was reportedly killed in a car crash yesterday, March 20.

The wreck apparently occurred in Charleston, MS a city in North Central Mississippi most known as “Gateway to the Delta.”

FBT productions lost their battle with one of the reported best rapper’s alive, Marshall Mathers known as Eminem aka Slim Shady.

In 2009, FBT filed a claim, saying the label owed the “Not Afraid” hit maker $1.47 million in damages because they didn’t pay Eminem for music downloads.

In Sept 2010, a California judge reportedly declared Universal bosses were at fault the the case with the Supreme Court case appealed by Universal executives was dismissed on Monday (Mar 21).

Police in Michigan are losing the battle in a court case against hip hop music producer Dr. Dre.

Dr. Dre is innocent according to a Michigan judge. Hip-Hop producer, Dr. Dre was sued by a group of police officials claiming that they were secretly filmed at the rapper’s 2000 “Up In Smoke” tour.
