Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre has been fined $50,000 by the NFL on Wednesday (Dec. 29) but has not been suspended for not cooperating in the investigation into the alleged lewd text messages and racy photos he allegedly sent to Playboy model and former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger.

Brett Favre, who was then the quarterback for the Jets at the time of the alleged lewd text messages and racy photos to Playboy model/former Jets TV girl Jenn Sterger, was accused of sending innocent and flirty messages at first.

Sterger claims that the messages became inappropriate when Favre allegedly sent her some very racy cellphone pictures, as reported on www.HipHopRx.com.

Upon investigation into the matter, the league has finally said, via Twitter, that it has found no violation of league policy in the Favre/Sterger investigation and their policies do not make judgements of personal relationships.

Earlier this season, the league began developing a sexual harassment policy due to recent sexually driven cases.

In regards to the case, Brett Favre has reportedly admitted to leaving Jenn Sterger voice mails, but denied that he sent her the lewd messages and racy pictures.

Meanwhile, the Vikings have just one game left in the 2010 season, and that’s on Sunday at Detroit.
