Hip Hop Posted December 27, 2010

Compton, California rapper The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, experienced a real life Grinch while doing some Christmas shopping with a friend at Westfield Topanga Shopping Mall when unidentified thieves got away with two of the rapper’s chains and at least $75,000 in cash that was left unattended in their car.

Grammy nominated rapper Game, turned to his twitter account to vent after he and a friend were robbed while shopping at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, Calif., on Christmas Eve. Game is claiming that one of the malls valet attendants may have played a role in the theft of a Luis duffel bag, two chains, and $75,000 in cash.

Game claims he was shopping for the kids when the incident happened and tweeted the Topanga Mall Nordstroms valet as fault of the incident.

Game also claims he was the one patted down by police when they arrived, and was told the palm trees blocked footage of the happening.

Game believes that the local police are not taking the investigation seriously after one police told him he had a “sweet ride.”

Game has yet to recover the stolen property but sends a message to the thieves, that they haven’t seen the last of them hinting that it’s not over.
