Twilight Star Actor Robert Pattinson Wanted To Be A Rapper, Has 100′s of Tapes

One of Twilight’s leading characters, actor/musician and model Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen has confessed that he wanted to be a rapper and that he has hundreds of recordings of himself.

According to the famed actor who got his start in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as Cedric Diggory, he was obsessed with Eminem. Robert Pattinson told Pops magazine that Eminem is a genius and he was around the age of twelve when he first came out and called his ‘Slim Shady’ cd fanatical.

As for having original raps, the Twilight movie actor said he would record his own versions of Eminem’s raps and even created his own crew called the Big Tub and the Tappy Cats.

Pattinson also admitted that many of his rhymes were taken from other people and the raps portrayed being raised on the streets. He added it was all farce since he was raised in the nice neighborhood of Barnes in London and it wasn’t even ghetto by a long shot.

He was obsessed with it all, according to Pattinson.

In other news, the Twilight crew is working on the final installment of the Twilight movie entitled The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn based off the book by Stephenie Meyer. Breaking Dawn is expected to be released in two parts, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 which is scheduled to be released November 18, 2011 and part 2 scheduled to release the following year, November 16, 2012.

The final movie will focus on Bella Swan [Kristen Stewart] and Edward Cullen’s marriage, honeymoon and pregnancy with Renesmee [Mackenzie Christine Foy].
