Bishop Eddie Long To Settle Out of Court With Accusers In Sex Scandal Case?!

Bishop Eddie Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church based near Atlanta, Ga is reportedly seeking a settlement in the case where he was accused by four church men (Maurice Robinson, Jamal Parris, Anthony Flagg and Spencer LeGrande) of sexually coercing them into a sexual relationship as young adults and giving them lavish gifts and more in exchange for sexual favors, as covered on www.HipHopRx.com.

Both parties allegedly have opted for mediation to prevent going to trial, however if their disputes aren’t resolved, they have a trial date already set in place for July 11, 2011.

Many are questioning Bishop Eddie Long’s legal team and his decision to agree to the mediation if he claims that he is innocent and feel that by Long agreeing to the mediation, he is admitting some type of misconduct as well as guilt.

In the beginning, when the red tight fitted muscle shirt wearing Eddie Long’s sex scandal was the news of the world,prov he vowed that he was indeed innocent and that he would fight the allegations. Now that time has passed, it seems that his fighting power has already diminished and he has opted to lose his chance at proven innocence to pay off the accusers and settle out of court.

Mediation sessions are expected to begin in February.
