The multi-platinum selling artist Katy Perry has reacted to what many have called inappropriate attire for her duet with Sesame Street’s Elmo for the song ‘Hot N Cold,’ as previously reported on www.HipHopRx.com.
Although the reaction isn’t the typical angry antic that others would be expecting, Katy Perry instead stated that it looks like her play date with one of the most famous characters Elmo, besides Big Bird, the Cook Monster and Oscar The Grouch, has been cut short.
The 25 year-old singer, who’s engaged to comedian/actor/author Russell Brand, added that if you still wanna play, see it at her official site, ending it with, “Tag you’re it, Elmo!”
Previously the singer had linked to the video on her twitter profile, but the video has since then removed from the users page on YouTube.
Meanwhile, according to Sesame Street’s Sesame Workshop, feedback they received on the Katy Perry music video made them decide not to air the segment for a segment broadcast on Sesame Street which is particularly aimed at toddlers and preschoolers.
In other news, Katy Perry recently released her second mainstream album (third overall studio album) entitled “Teenage Dream” on August 24, 2010. The album features the hit single “California Gurls” featuring rapper Snoop Dogg, as well as the albums title track “Teenage Dream” which was released on July 23, 2010.
