Kanye West seems to be signing a new lease on life, first he has broken his silence about President Obama calling him a jackass (which The President said during an interview last year regarding Kanye West’s Taylor Swift encounter) and Kanye may have a new girlfriend – a Pussycat Doll – Melody Thornton… or is it Victoria’s Secret party girl and fashion model Selita Ebanks?! Hmmm. Maybe he hasn’t signed a new lease just yet.
First, Kanye West was reportedly spotted at a fashion show together with reported new girlfriend Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls, now he’s talking for the first time about President Obama’s “jackass” comment. According to MediaTakeOut.com, Kanye and Melody have a thing going on but were keeping it ‘on the down low’ and even before the VMA’s on last week, West was rumored to be flying out Melody to be his date.
Well, now that rumor is being clashed with another report of another new girlfriend of West – Selita Ebanks – who has been seen in and around New York City with West together. Reportedly Kanye West’shot ex-girlfriend Amber Rose even knew about his flame with Ebanks before their breakup, according to Pop Buzz reporter LaShonda Matlock.
Even PageSix is saying the two, Selita Ebanks and Kanye West are an item even though the two have denied they are dating?! Hmmm.
Meanwhile, Kanye West, who’s featured on the cover of the latest issue of XXL Magazine, has broken his silence about President Obama calling him a “jackass” saying “Obama was supposed to be speaking off the record” and he “has way more important stuff to worry about than my public perception,” adding that “if he said that to relate to the room or lighten the room up and the whole mood, then I’d be more than happy to be the butt of all of his jokes if it in the some way helps his overall mission.”
West goes on to say “I’m a soldier of culture. I’m resilient. I’m sure I’ll still beat him in basketball.”
So there you have it, West can take a joke, but maybe that was because it was President Barack Obama, don’t think this was an open invite to joke about Kanye West freely.

Kanye’s response to the media made controversy is classy. Considering the comment made by POTUS Obama was not DURING the interview but prior to it, media including this blog makes it seem like the President was replying to a question during the interview. Not surprised though since from January 20th 2009 media continues to frame lies and propaganda as truth when it comes to this President. Kudos to Kanye for being smart and respectful, makes me love him more. I will buy his new cd.
