Aretha Franklin’s Son Brutally Attacked; Beaten In Detroit By 2 Men, 1 Woman

Aretha Franklin’s son, Eddie Franklin, 52, is now reportedly hospitalized following an alleged attack at a Detroit gas station the other night. Franklin was reportedly attacked and beaten by 2 men and 1 woman at around 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Eddie Franklin, who was apparently taken to a local hospital by an unidentified person, reportedly underwent emergency surgery on today and reportedly tells police now that it wasn’t 2 men and woman like initially reported but instead three men that severely assaulted him at the gas station near Plymouth and Evergreen in Detroit.
Detroit police say Franklin provided them with this info in a written statement and they are currently investigating Eddie Franklin’s claim.
No word from Aretha Franklin or her reported spokeswoman, Gwendolyn Quinn.
No further details have been released on Franklin’s condition or any possible leads or arrests made in the case.
