The body of NBA player Lorenzen Wright, 34, a favorite in his hometown of Memphis, TN, was discovered on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 more than a week after being reported missing. The former Grizzlies, Clippers, Hawks, Kings and Cavaliers player was allegedly brutally murdered from multiple gunshot wounds.
The tragedy occurred after news of the NBA free agent broke of him being missing reported by his own family, as reported on MemphisRap.com.
Though it started cloudy, new evidence shows that the NBA player was accompanied by an ‘unfamiliar’ person before he left the house of his ex-wife with more than $50,000 in possession. After being missing for nearly two days, his family reported him missing.
Reportedly a phone call from his cellphone was received by 911 on Monday, July 19, 2010, the last day he would be seen at a local barber shop.
It is being stated that the dispatcher heard multiple gunshots, at least ten and a garbled voice saying profanity.
