Hip Hop Producer Swizz Beatz and Ex-Wife Owe IRS Over 2 Mil In Back Taxes?!

Music producer Swizz Beatz thought he was scotch free from all the drama, now there is more fuel being added to this little camper’s fire for allegedly letting his taxes get out of hand. It is being reported that the music producer and his ex-wife Mashonda Tifrere owe more than 2.2 million dollars to New York, California and Georgia in taxes.

Swizz Beatz born Kasseem Dean, 31, who recently announced an engagement to a very pregnant Alicia Keys, had the lien filed against him in New York earlier this month. This came shortly after settling a dispute with his ex-wife over the disappearance of child support payments for their 3 year-old son where he had to pay more than $300,000 in child support and back alimony.

According to NY Post, Dean’s attorney says that they have been discussing the issue for a number of years with the government. Things that make you go hmmm…

To resolve the matter, the music producer is stated to be attempting to clear up his debt issues and plans to pay his taxes through a financial plan.

As Swizz Beatz gets his business together, his ex-wife, who is now officially relieved from him after the divorced was finalized in May 2010, is reportedly preparing for her new album and other ventures.
