T.I. Forms Partnership With Remy Martin, Appointed Global Creative Consultant

Rapper T.I. born Clifford Harris seems to be off to a somewhat good start despite a rumor that he was in the company of someone who may have been in possession of using an illegal substance. On today, it was announced that the rapper and CEO of Grand Hustle has formed a partnership with Remy Martin Cognac to work collaboratively on creative projects and was named Global Creative Consultant.
With the partnership, they hope to work on several events together and personal appearances as the rapper nears the release of his upcoming album “King Uncaged” scheduled to release on August 17th.
Remy Martin also hopes to raise awareness and funds to help support T.I.’s foundation called K.I.N.G. Foundation which helps low income families through community outreach, mentoring and positive intervention.
As for T.I., he will be lending his mind to the company with creative thinking on marketing initiatives which is stated to include promotions, digital media and merchandising.
The rapper who’s been a fan of Remy Martin for several years says he is honored to be working with Remy Martin as their creative consultant and after a recent trip with them, he admires the brand’s genius even more.
In other news, T.I. will be starring in the movie “Takers” alongside Matt Dillon, Paul Walker, Idris Elba, Jay Hernandez, Michael Ealy, Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Zoe Saldana and Johnathon Schaech. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres August 20, 2010.
