Brittany Murphy’s Husband Simon Monjack Found Dead 5 Months After Her Death

Five months after the sudden death of his wife actress and singer Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack was found dead in the very same home where Murphy’s body was found in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles County coroners office confirmed early Monday (May 24) morning that the widower of the late Brittany Murphy, Simon Monjack, 39, died shortly after a 911 call was made at 9:24 p.m. Sunday night.
“We have detectives at scene,” Sgt. Louie Lozano told the Los Angeles Times. “They [detectives] are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.”
Though the exact cause of death is still unknown, police say it appears to be of natural causes.
In December, Monjack’s wife, actress Brittany Murphy, died of pneumonia, anemia and multiple drug intoxication as reported on www.HipHopRX.com. The two had been married since 2007.
