Carmine Gotti aka C Gotti, Grandson of John Gotti, Prepping Debut Music Album
The grandson of the infamous mob boss John Gotti is slated to release his debut Hip-Hop/Pop music album this summer. Details inside.
Carmine Gotti, the grandson of the late John Gotti who was the leader of New York’s ‘La Cosa Nostra’ family, says he has plans to drop his debut Hip-Hop or rather ‘Hip Pop’ album this summer.
Carmine Gotti first hit the national scene when A and E aired the reality show ‘Growing Up Gotti,’ with his two brothers and mother Victoria Gotti, the daughter of John Gotti.
In June of 2007, Carmine told the media that he will be releasing a rap album through the Ruff Ryder’s imprint, as reported on HipHopRX.com, but nothing ever came about that.
He has been seen in various Hip-Hop videos such as Khia’s ‘Been a Bad Girl’ and Fat Joe’s ‘Slow Down’ video.
His style is reportedly reminisent of Justin Timberlake and Fabolous. “I don’t do rap, I do pop music,” said Carmine Gotti.
“If I had to put a name on it, I would call it Hip-Pop, if anything. I like to stay in my own lane,” he told the NY Daily News. “I’m matured; I was a kid when they saw me last time. I wanted to step away from that whole image….I’m a young man now. I’m clean-cut… My album is more focused on the club scene, and mostly focuses on women…I want to surprise everybody.”
So call him C. Gotti when you see him out!
His untitled debut album is slated to be released later this year.
