Lil Wayne Doesn’t Go To Jail Today Thanks To A Fire At The Courthouse

Ok so you all know Lil’ Wayne was supposed to turn himself in on Feb. 9th to begin his one year sentence and he did, but thanks to his attorney, Wayne was able to postpone his sentence to March 2 due to dental surgery. Well guess what now? It’s been postponed again!

Lil’ Wayne turned himself in once again this morning at the Manhattan Criminal Court building in New York City to begin his sentencing when a fire broke out in the basement of the courthouse. Makes you wonder huh?

At 10:29 this morning, officials say a fire broke out in the basement of the courthouse where Lil’ Wayne was to be sentenced causing an entire evacuation. The fire was under control by 11:55, but by then it was too late and all cases had to be postponed until tomorrow (March 3, 2010).

Lil Wayne’s attorney tells celebrity gossip site TMZ, that the rapper had no idea that his sentencing had been postponed because he was on a plane heading to New York.

It is more than likely Wayne will begin his sentence tomorrow unless a miracle saves him once again.

Maybe they should drop Wayne’s case because some unknown phenomena is keeping him from going to prison!
