Nick Cannon Speaks On Mariah Carey Drinking Problem and Going To Rehab [Audio]

Nick Cannon, on his morning radio show 92.3 NOW FM in NY, slams Star magazine’s claim that he is sending his wife Mariah Carey to rehab.


Cannon says he was “on the plane back” one night and saw in Star magazine that he was supposed to be checking his beautiful wifey Mariah Carey into alcoholic rehab.

“What kind of bull ish,” started Nick Cannon joking about the situation.

“Like rehab for being sexy,” Cannon adds while saying the rumor obviously stems from Mariah Carey’s incident awhile back where the star singer was a little tipsy during a speech, as reported on HipHopRX.com, which she (Mariah Carey) herself blamed on the alcohol. It was during Carey’s acceptance speech at Palm Springs International Film Festival for her award for ‘Breakthrough Actress,’ which she won for her role as a social worker in the movie ‘Precious.’ Carey apparently had some splashes of champagne with ‘Precious’ director Lee Daniels.

Well in the video of audio of Nick Cannon’s response, Cannon can be heard going in on the magazine for the rumor denying that Mariah Carey has any alcohol problem.
