A whole slew of 100-plus artists throughout the world will come together for the remake of 1985’s ‘We Are The World’ to benefit Haiti earthquake victim’s in need of supplies including the likes of Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Eminem and others.

‘We Are The World’ was co-written by Michael Jackson and Lional Richie in 1985 for a USA for Africa Charity event. The re-make of the single will include a rumored 100-plus line-up including, Lady GaGa, Celine Dion, Jay Z, Bono, Barbra Streisand and Kanye West to name a few.

Music producer RedOne, who tells Rolling Stone he’s “delighted,” will orchestrate the track that will also include Justin Timberlake, Fergie, Wyclef Jean, Enrique Iglesias, Eminem, Jason Mraz and Akon just to name a few more.

Word is that participants are more than excited and happy at the “dream” opportunity to work the remake with Quincy Jones, Randy Phillips and Lionel Richie.
