Tiny, Toya Return To TV; Make Identities Outside Of Rappers T.I. and Lil Wayne

After the first season of Tiny & Toya obtained great ratings as the world tuned and watched, the two (Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle and Antonia ‘Toya’ Carter) are back in a second season of their reality television show. On the first episode, the two struggled with everyday life while trying to create themselves an identity outside of being attached to entertainers and hip hop artists T.I. and Lil Wayne.

Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle, formerly of the hit R&B group Xscape and longtime partner of rapper T.I. (who was recently released from prison) and mother to his children, juggled with life and business while he resided in federal prison on gun possession charges. Tiny’s best friend Antonia ‘Toya’ Carter juggled with a mother who battled her drug addiction demons, while Toya looked to be more than the ex-wife of rapper Lil Wayne and one of his baby mommas. The two in the first season left off at attempting their business ventures. Tiny was trying to restart her music career, managing artists and opening a nail salon. Toya left off at trying to find Mr. Right, writing a book, and finally moving on from Lil Wayne who will now be heading off to prison when the show returns, as covered on HipHopRX.com.

In the upcoming season, Tiny will be dealing with trying to help her father Charles Pope who suffers from Alzheimer, raising her children and expanding her business ventures. Toya will be focused on maintaining a life and strong relationship with her daughter Reginae, trying to get her mother Anita to take a grasp of her life to overcome her drug addiction, all while to trying have a love life.

The second season of “Tiny & Toya” is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, April 13 at 9PM CST on BET.
