Lady Gaga Fans Help Raise 500K For Haiti Earthquake Relief Efforts

Fans from all over the world have successfully raised more than 500k in one day. The singer dedicated the 24th of Jan. to raising funds to help the grief stricken country. She pledged to donate all proceeds from merchandise sold from her website and from a NY concert.
At Lady Gaga’s concert at Purdue University, she announced to everyone the success of her fans’ donations, telling the audience, “On Gaga for Haiti day, in just 24 hours, with very minimal marketing and planning, all the little monsters all over the world have made over a half a million dollars for Haiti relief.” It wasn’t made clear whether or not the price she quoted on stage included profit from her limited edition Haiti t-shirt. Thank You Lady Gaga and to everyone who donated.
