According to Nielsen SoundScan, the ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ Compilation is the biggest album in the country, outselling Susan Boyle. Not only is it the hottest album, ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ is the first digital only album to take the number one spot on Billboard Top 200 Album Charts.
With 171,000 copies sold in just two full days, the ‘Hope For Haiti Now’ album has topped the Billboard 200 charts placing Susan Boyle at number 2. To make it more interesting, all 171,000 copies were sold digitally making it the first digital album to go number one on the Billboard charts.
‘Hope For Haiti Now’ feature’s songs from Jay Z, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Alicia Keys and more.
All proceeds from album sales of Hope for Haiti Now will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Oxfam America, Partners in Health, Red Cross, UNICEF, United Nations World Food Programme, and Yele Haiti Foundation.
