Rapper Waka Flocka Associate Breaks the Silence on Near Fatal Gun Shooting!

According to D.J. Holiday, 23 yr. old Juaquin “Waka Flocka Flame” Malphurs, part of Gucci Mane’s Brick Squad Crew and Mizay mgmt., has some injuries to his upper body following a report that the rapper was shot twice during an attempted robbery. Holiday reports that the bullet that nearly took the life of Waka Flocka in an attempted robbery on Tuesday, January 19th, as reported on HipHopRX.com, is still lodged on the right side of Waka Flocka’s chest, under his arm.

D.J. Holiday did say, “He is responding better,” as revealed to XXL Mag, according to a report on SOHH. He even says Flame jokes about it. The, “Oh, let’s do it” rapper was shot once in the arm and once in the shoulder. The bullet in the shoulder moved around and lodged itself near his lung, so Waka has trouble breathing and moving. However, D.J. Holiday says Waka is a tough guy.

While stopped at a local car wash/gas station off of Old National Hwy. in Atlanta, some unknown suspect(s) held Waka Flocka up at gunpoint and demanded his chain. When he refused to give up his chain, shots were fired, hitting the rapper twice.

Currently police are looking for a black male suspect, between the age of 21-25 (early twenties) and are asking anyone with information about the shooting, to contact authorities in Fulton County.
