Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Rihanna Nominated For Brit Awards (Nominations List)

Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Eminem, Shakira and many others have been nominated for the 2010 Brit Awards which is slated to take place Tuesday, February 16 at London’s Earl’s Court Arena.

For ‘International Female Solo Artist,’ Lady Gaga will be going up against Rihanna while Jay-Z and Eminem have been nominated for ‘International Male Solo Artist.’ For ‘International Album,’ Jay-Z will be competing with Lady Gaga, The Black Eyed Peas, amongst others for their respective albums “The Blueprint 3″ (Jay-Z), “The Fame” (Lady Gaga) and “The End” (Black Eyed Peas).

Lady Gaga will also be going head to head with country teen singer and songwriter Taylor Swift for International Breakthrough Act. Hopefully Kanye won’t be there to interrupt this time as he did at the MTV Video Music Awards, as reported on HipHopRX.com.

Jay-Z and Lady Gaga are the lead nominees for the Brit Awards 2010, turning heads with their albums. Monday, Jan. 18th, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga were announced as nominees along with Shakira, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Rihanna, and many others. It is said that the Brit Awards only celebrate the best in music, sometimes being thought of as the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys.

Jay-Z also has some strong male competition for ‘International Male Solo Act,’ going up against Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Michael Buble and Seasick Steve.
