As recently reported on HipHopRX.com, Rush Limbaugh, the controversial radio talk show host, advised the American people not to give aid/money to the Haitian people. Mr. Limbaugh said that the President is using the Haiti disaster to improve his standings with blacks in our country. George Bush has now come to the President’s defense.
Former President Bush views Obama’s immediate response simply as an effort to get help to the Haitian people as soon as possible. The people expect a quick response, but it takes time to get supplies in order. There are plenty of organizations that are willing to help, but it takes time to organize a plan, like the one both Presidents Bush and Bill Clinton have developed with the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund at www.clintonbushhaitifund.org to help others in doing their part.
Even if President Obama was using the tremendous disaster for political gain, wouldn’t it still benefit the people of Haiti? At a time like this, isn’t that what’s most important?
Bush said during an appearance on NBC‘s, “Meet the Press” that he’s been “briefed by the President about the response,” and as he’s already said in an opening statement, he appreciates “the president’s quick response” to the Haiti earthquake disaster.

Are you incompetent or lying? Like him or not, he said no such thing. Why don’t you try listening to his program?
shut up bitch! yes he didyou need to get off of rush’s limbaugh and find some ass
Like all libtards in the media, they are lying to try to get Rush off the air.
i heard the broadcast… Rush said don’t give through the US Gov bureaucracy, instead, give through private organizations. They are more efficient and more will get to the people who need it.
As usual, Rush is right (correct), and the libs are lying.
Oh, as far as calling the Obama an opportunist, he did. Remember Obama’s right hand man (Rahm), once said “Never let a crisis go to waste.” I respect that he’s helping, but when he jumps on this to get TV time, and ignores the various terrorist attacks for days, or the issues in Afganistan for weeks/months, i, too, write his fast response off to politics, and what will or won’t go over well with a focus group.
Oh, when Bush was giving billions to Africa for AIDS assistance, more than ANY democrat, the left was still chastising him as an insensitive whitey. Sorry kids, leftist rhetoric is being exposed at every turn
