Female rapper and actress Eve announces that she has left Interscope Geffen A&M Records and is now a free agent and plans to release an album in the Spring or the Summer.

After many delays and push backs, the rapper posted via her Twitter that she went back in re-doing music.

The female MC hasn’t put out a record since her 2002 album Eve-Olution which featured the single “Gangsta Lovin’” with Alicia Keys and “Satisfaction.” In 2007 it was announced that she would be releasing an album entitled “Here I Am” which was later renamed to “Flirt.” It would later be announced that Eve would be releasing her long overdue album “Flirt,” after leaving Aftermath Records to Interscope/Geffen and then again in 2009. Unfortunately after releasing a few songs in 2007 the project still remained delayed in 2009 due corporate to limbo.

Now in 2010, rapper Eve expects to release her highly anticipated and long overdue album under the title “Lip Lock” which will feature previously released singles “Tambourine” and “Give It To You”. The singles will be included as bonus tracks on Eve’s album “Lip Lock.”
