Singer Kelis Blasts PETA: ‘Dont Judge Me; Diabetes Insulin Made From Lab Pigs’

Ex-wife of rapper Nas, singer Kelis throws PETA under the bus after receiving a personalized letter from the organization. PETA which means People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has done great things, but is there a point where you must stop and try not place your views on those without first asking them ‘have they ever thought about changes with their lifestyle?’ Apparently PETA must have caught wind of Kelis wearing the outfit seen in the picture above when she was spotted out in London working on her new album.

In a response to PETA, Kelis Rogers-Jones, 30, pointed out there are also a number of other issues at hand that may be more time worthy than attacking her about her choices of apparel or meals. Kelis went on to tell PETA to talk to her if she was wearing endangered animals like polar bear or orangutan and not rodents.

Kelis says she found out PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk is “completely batty” from doing research, and is possibly diabetic, which means she needs insulin. Kelis wrote, “I think she’s a diabetic, which means she needs insulin, which is taken from lab pigs.” Kelis says she knows this because her sister happens to be in veterinary school and, if true about PETA founder, this would be completely hypocritical.

The singer goes on say to ‘get off her back’ and ‘address issues in the community and in society.’ Kelis adds that these are the things that need to be addressed and ends her letter saying to ‘go to the Forest’ where no one can hear you complain.

“Everyone has the right to an opinion, and that’s mine on that,” ends Kelis.

In other news, Kelis is working a new album reported under the title “FleshTones” which is expected to release sometime in 2010.

Honestly, does anyone even CARE about what Kelis thinks? She’s obviously hit rock bottom. She’s wearing the skins of animals who have been anally/vaginally electrocuted and skinned alive! What a sad society we live in!
