Beyonce’s Former Bandmate Michelle Williams Leaves Mathew Knowles’ Management

Seems that Mathew Knowles Music World Entertainment is losing yet again another artist and the latest is former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams. It comes as no surprise after losing a couple of Destiny Child singers at the beginning stages LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett, then Kelly Rowland at the beginning of 2009 and in his personal life, his wife Tina Knowles who filed for divorce, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com.
As for Michelle Williams and her reason for leaving, she states she decided to move in a new direction in her career.
In a candid statement, the singer speaks about the great success they’ve shared together (Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment), and the feeling that she had that the time to leave was now. Michelle Williams also stated that she is grateful for what Beyonce Knowles and Solange Knowles’ father, Mathew Knowles, who was her manager as well as the manager for all of Beyonce’s bandmates, has done for her.
Well, maybe it’s a good thing. There’s no better time to do it than at the beginning of a New Year, right?
Meanwhile, Michelle Williams has been busy on Broadway in the play “Chicago” at the Cambridge Theatre as the role of Roxie Hart. Michelle Williams is expected to be returning in her role for the Tony Award-winning music for seven weeks at the Ambassador Theatre from February 9, 2010 - March 28, 2010.
