A confirmation was finally made by a spokesperson representing the two, that the break-up is official, saying that both 25 yr. old Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton and 31 yr. old Nicole Scherzinger need to focus on their careers.
The couple met in 2007 and quickly became inseparable. Last year, Scherzinger confirmed her plans to marry Lewis during July of ’09 saying that marriage is a seal of love and she would love to experience the whole process.
However, it appears that Nicole wanted to settle down and Lewis was just not ready.
Ms. Scherzinger is now living in L.A. and Mr. Hamilton is based in Switzerland. Nicole is set to release her album ‘ My Name is Nicole ‘ later this year. Hamilton is focusing on winning the next championship as a race car driver.
According to a statement released for press, the couple have “decided to go their separate ways” and now “want to focus fully on their careers” but apparently they will “remain close friends.”
