MoNique Show Employee Killed; Husband Drove Wife’s Body With Children For Days (Photos)

A woman who worked for ‘The MoNique Show’ was killed allegedly on Sunday night. Maureen Allaben was murdered by non other than her own husband who then put his wife’s body in the back of his pick-up truck and drove around with her for days just so he could go and tell his family he had killed his wife and drop the kids off with them before turning himself in to police.

DeKalb County Police say that Dennis Allaben killed his wife Maureen Allaben on Sunday then put her body in the back of his pickup truck. He then drove her lifeless body from their home in Tucker, Georgia to his relatives home in Chesterfield, Virginia to tell them what he had done. Dennis Allaben then drove back to Georgia and turned himself in at the Clayton County police headquarters saying he had killed his wife.

After a thorough search of the Allaben’s home, police say they found no evidence of foulplay nor did Dennis Allaben tell them how he murdered his wife, DeKalb County Police Chief William O’Brien said, according to website AJC.com.

There was no word whether of not the two children who he dropped off after the murder at their relatives house knew that the body of their mother, Maureen Allaben, 43, set decorator and food stylist for ‘The MoNique Show,’ was in the back of the pickup truck when their daddy, Dennis Allaben, 46, dropped them off.

Friends and co-workers say there was no indications of anything wrong in the Allaben’s family and the family had just got a new family dog which they got from the pound.

Mo’Nique of “The Mo’Nique Show” told ET on Thursday that though she is “saddened by Maureen’s passing” she also must rejoice for just knowing a woman such as Maureen Allaben with such a “sweet, soulful spirit.”
