Mariah Carey: Blames Slurred Speech On The Al Al Al Al Al Alcohol! (Footage)

At the Peoples Choice Awards last night, Mariah Carey says it was the alcohol talking as she gave her now infamous ’slurry’ acceptance speech. As she hit the stage at the Palm Springs International Film Festival to accept her award for ‘Breakthrough Actress’ her acceptance speech was a little slurry but she blamed it on the al al al al al alcohol baby.
Singer Mariah Carey took to the stage to accept her award for ‘Breakthrough Actress’ at the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival for her role as a social worker in the movie ‘Precious’, but she could barely get her words out of her mouth as she somewhat gave her acceptance speech.
Carey says she was having splashes of champagne with ‘Precious’ director Lee Daniels before taking the stage.
Hey she was just having a little fun, didn’t we say the Peoples Choice Awards was an unpredictable show? Carey has a few words for the haters:
