The heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune who was recently said to be engaged to Tila Tequila, was found dead on Monday morning at age thirty.
Johnson leaves behind an adopted daughter, Ava and was the great-great granddaughter of the founder of the pharmaceutical giant, and the daughter of the New York Jets owner, Robert Wood Johnson.
Ms. Johnson was an openly gay socialite and often attracted paparazzi and trouble. Last October, Johnson’s hair was set on fire after a fight with her ex-girlfriend, Courtney Semel. Then in November she was arrested for allegedly breaking into another former girlfriend’s house.
Tila Tequila announced via twitter, in December, that the pair was engaged. Tequila wrote, “Tonight, my beautiful girlfriend has just asked me to marry her and check out this rock.” – while wearing lingerie in an internet video, she says, “Bam! That is a 17-carat diamond ring from my baby”
