NBA Washington Wizards Players Pull Guns On Each Other Over Gambling Debt?!
Washington Wizards teammates Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton allegedly pulled out the straps on one another in the locker room over a gambling debt.
Washington Wizards officials were investigating a claim that Gilbert Arenas had unloaded firearms stored in his locker. Arenas admitted to having them and that was that! Not really, during that investigation Wizards officials became aware of an incident on Christmas Eve between Arenas and fellow teammate Javaris Crittenton.
The New York Post is reporting that, on the night of Christmas Eve, an angry Javaris Crittenton confronted Arenas about a gambling debt that he had refused to pay when Arenas pulled out his firearm on Javaris Crittenton. Crittenton then pulled out his strap resulting in the stand off.
This was a situation that was supposed to be resolved by the Wizards now police and Federal officials are investigating the matter.
“We’re working with the Metropolitan Police Department on the investigation,” says Ben Friedman, a spokesman for the US Attorney’s Office in DC.
Arenas has since denied pulling a gun on Crittenton.
Maybe Arenas is still mad about his wife allegedly cheating with Shaq, as reported on HipHopRX.com.
