Elton John Says He’s Helping Eminem With His Drug Problem!

Singer Elton John tells BBC radio that he has been helping Eminem kick his drug habit for the last 18 months.

Elton John didn’t go into details about ‘HOW’ he’s helping Eminem but says that he is doing brilliantly.

“I’ve been helping Eminem over the last 18 months and he’s doing brilliantly,” John told BBC radio in an interview.

Eminem entered drug rehab in 2005 after almost overdosing on methadone, synthetic heroin. He also was addicted to Vicodin and the sleep aid Ambien.

“If I was to give you a number of Vicodin I would actually take in a day? Anywhere between 10 to 20. Valium, Ambien, the numbers got so high I don’t even know what I was taking,” Eminem told Vibe Magazine in 2009.

Elton John had a battle with drugs during his career but has been sober since the 1980′s and has helped other celebrities overcome their addictions.

“I’m there if people want my help, If people ask for help you tell them where to go but there’s no point advising people if they don’t want to do it.”
