Teddy Riley Responds To Beating Daughters, Blames Kids Lack Of Disipline (Photos)

Legendary music producer and singer Teddy Riley speaks out on the accusations of assault against his children, mainly his daughters — grown daughters — who he states disrespected him in his own home. The singer was accused of stomping, punching and bashing them with a Rock Band video game guitar controller, as reported on www.HipHopRX.com, but Teddy Riley has a different version of the story.

In a lengthy letter released to TMZ, Teddy Riley, stated that he should have been a stronger disciplinarian when his children were growing up. Riley continues to state that he worked very hard so that his kids wouldn’t want for anything and to sum it up, they are not being appreciative of him and how fortunate they are.

“Instead of being appreciative and realizing how fortunate they are, my children have an inflated sense of entitlement and expectation without having to work or earn their way,” stated Riley.

The music producer then speaks about him working at an early age (14) and how he purchased his car on his own and that his children doesn’t even remember their first car.

“I grew up with 6 of us in an apartment fighting over one bathroom. My kids have never had to share a bathroom, let alone a bedroom,” he adds.

Teddy Riley ends with asking everyone to let it go and that he’s only being a good parent and that everyone who knows him, knows that he is a good father.

Teddy Riley is reported to be the father of 8 children; Dante Horne (26), Dejanee (Deja) Riley (21), Nia Riley (20),Taja Riley (18), Tiarra (Bobbie) Riley (15), Lil Teddy (6), Samar Riley (4), and Tyler Riley (1).

Meanwhile, as things get settled, the singer and producer has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from his daughter Taja Riley and is expected to appear at a hearing January 10th.
