If you’re in Las Vegas or New York and plan on getting drunk and will not have a designated driver to get you home, be sure you grab yourself a pre-paid taxi card or a MTA card to make it safely back home.
Thanks to Diddy and his heavily endorsed Ciroc the “‘Official Vodka of New Year’s Eve,’” you’ll be one step safer to your doorstep or hotel bed with that hangover.
“..I’m proud to announce that we’re bringing Safe Rides back in an even bigger way,” states Sean Diddy Combs.
This isn’t the first time Diddy and Ciroc have provided the Safe Rides program, on last year they made sure that everyone got home safely in New York. Since Diddy, the proclaimed “King of Parties” is always visiting Las Vegas, the Safe Rides program is being introduced there to encourage social responsibility in the Sin City.
According to a press release, CIROC teams will distribute the thousands of debit and MTA cards to adult consumers in New York City between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve while supplies last.
Each individual debit card will be valued at $15.00 to pay for cab fare. The MTA cards are stated to be redeemable for a one-way subway or bus fare valued at $2.25.
As for Las Vegas, CIROC brand ambassadors will distribute the $15 pre-paid taxi cards at venues and high traffic intersections.
In addition to Diddy and Ciroc providing Safe Rides, CIROC and the E! network will be taking the message nationally with the “Drive Safe” campaign.
This will mark the second year Ciroc has partnered with E! Entertainment and the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission to distribute pre-paid taxi cards.
