Warner Music Group (WMG) has joined with online video service Hulu and the two will be providing music videos and concert footage to online viewers. Hulu, who’s known for offering streaming video of TV shows, movies and video clips which can be watched online, made the agreement public on last week along with Warner.
With the agreement, Warner Brother will be offering fans access to Muse, the first featured recording artists through the partnership where an artist page will be hosted on hulu.com/muse with the groups television appearances, content from tour dates, exclusive interviews and more.
In addition, Atlantic Records artist Jason Mraz and music group Paramore will be added within the coming weeks.
More artists are planned to be added gradually from the rosters of Atlantic Records, Rhino Records and Warner Bros. Records with an announcement to follow in early 2010.
Warner Music Group is home to a number of labels which include Asylum, Atlantic, Cordless, East West, Elektra, Nonesuch, Reprise, Rhino, Roadrunner, Rykodisc, Sire, Warner Bros., Word and Warner Music International.
