Disney Star Vanessa Hudgens, 21, is taking matters into her own hands over leaked nude photos with the help of a legal team. Earlier this year the young starlet was buzzing on the Internet for the second time after photos of the naked actress/singer made its way on a number of media sources, as reported on HipHopRX.com.
Since one company isn’t budging, the High School Musical star is now seeking unspecified damages from one particular company’s website and has went to federal court in Los Angeles to request that the images be removed.
The site formerly known as Bastardly now moejackson owned by Butter Media is stated to have refused to act. Hey, maybe they didn’t get the memo or it went to spam trapbox?
In addition to the suit, Vanessa Hudgens has quietly registered the nude photos with the U.S. Copyright Office which she took on her cellphone.
As for how the photos got out, the lawsuit states that they were obtained by unknown methods and then they were posted on the world wide web (Internet) by an unkown person without the consent or knowledge of Hudgens.
Hudgens is not the first celebrity and certainly not the last celeb to have nude photos leaked online. R&B singer Cassie naked photos leaked online prior to Hudgens which were later followed by Pop singer Rihanna nude photos.
